ILS Welcomes Zoology Students from BJB Autonomous College
On 9th October 2026, BRIC-Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, hosted 50 students from the Department of Zoology, BJB Autonomous College — comprising PG 1st Year, PG 2nd Year, and UG 3rd Year batches — along with their accompanying faculty, as part of an educational outreach programme.
The students got hands-on exposure to our advanced central research facilities, including FACS, Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Next-Generation Sequencing, Zebrafish , and Confocal Microscopy.
They also interacted with our scientists — Dr. Tushar Kant Beuria, Dr. Amaresh Panda, and Dr. Seema Pradhan — who shared insights into ongoing research and modern research methodologies, helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world scientific practice.
It was a pleasure to see the students’ enthusiasm in engaging with these state-of-the-art platforms and envisioning future academic and career pathways in life sciences.
At ILS, we remain committed to nurturing scientific curiosity among young minds. We welcome more such visits!
