About This Event
As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign–2026, BRIC–Institute of Life Sciences (BRIC-ILS), Bhubaneswar, organised a cleanliness drive at its third campus at Tigiria on 19th September 2026.
A team from BRIC-ILS led by Dr. Satis Devdas & Mr. Amitav Routray, visited the Tribal Ashram School at Popara, Tigiria, and cleaned the school premises, including the toilets. They also interacted with students and teachers, encouraging good hygiene and sanitation practices.
Beyond cleanliness, the initiative aimed to build awareness of the science behind hygiene and sanitation. BRIC-ILS Scientists and staff engaged students through a quiz competition and interactive sessions on personal hygiene and a healthy environment. Students and teachers participated enthusiastically.
