A Month of Science, Mentorship & Discovery: GSBTM-RCB Internship Program at BRIC-ILS concludes!
We are delighted to share highlights from the month-long internship program hosted at BRIC-Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) for 10 talented students nominated by the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM), coordinated by Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad.
From June 1–30, 2026, these young minds immersed themselves in a comprehensive journey across the life sciences spectrum: from hands-on exposure to Confocal Microscopy, Live Cell Imaging & High Content Screening, SEM/TEM demonstrations, to deep dive into Immunology & Flow Cytometry, Biomaterials & 3D Bioprinting, CRISPR/Cas, Plant Tissue Culture, Genetic diseases, virology, cancer biology, malaria parasitology, Animal Models in Biomedical Research, Developmental Biology, and a visit to the Incubation Centre to learn about Entrepreneurship Development.
The program concluded with student presentations, a closing ceremony, and certificate distribution graced by Dr. Debasis Dash and ILS faculties.
