Excited to share that BRIC-Institute of Life Sciences (BRIC-ILS), Bhubaneswar hosted the "One Health Symposia: Bridging Ecosystems and Human Health" on 11-12 September 2026! 🧬🌍
The One Health framework is critical to addressing complex global challenges — zoonotic disease prevention, antimicrobial resistance, food safety, and environmental conservation. This symposium brought together researchers, public health policymakers, and healthcare professionals to foster collaboration and develop strategies to help predict and prepare for future pandemics.
The two-day event featured keynote talks, panel discussions, and scientific sessions spanning wastewater-based epidemiology, pathogen surveillance, zoonotic disease, AI-driven analytics, and public health preparedness — with 150+ researchers, students, scientists, doctors, and healthcare professionals in attendance.
A great reminder that human, animal, and environmental health are deeply interconnected — and that tackling the next pandemic will take all of us working together.
