The Proteomics Society, India (PSI) has been annually bringing together the proteomics community to encourage the exchange of ideas, increase collaborations, and enhance innovation at the National and international levels. We are happy to announce that the 18th Annual Meeting of the Proteomics Society, India and International Conference on Integrative Proteomics: Health, Disease and Environment (PSI2026) is going to be organised at BRIC - Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar, from November 12-14, 2026, along with PSI Education day as a pre-conference event on November 11, 2026.
The scientific program will feature a PSI Education Day for students and early-career researchers, along with plenary and invited lectures, oral and poster presentations, young scientist sessions, and industry interactions. The conference will provide a vibrant platform for scientific discussions, knowledge sharing, networking and fostering collaborations among researchers, academicians, clinicians, and industry professionals from diverse fields.
The conference themes reflect the increasing importance of proteomics in understanding complex biological systems associated with human health, disease biology, environmental interactions, agriculture, and translational research. Integrating proteomics with genomics, metabolomics, and bioinformatics is transforming our ability to uncover molecular mechanisms, discover biomarkers, and develop innovative solutions for global health and environmental challenges.
The conference in Bhubaneswar will provide a unique opportunity to share your proteomics research with wide scientific community and to further the in-depth analysis of the challenges involved in mass spectrometry based proteomics, their integration with other omics and their applications to network with fellow academicians, industrial researchers and editorial board members of prestigious journals. In addition to the plenary and invited talks, there will be short talks selected from abstract of the young investigators and students.
Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha has taken pride in welcoming guests from all over the world since the ancient times. Odisha has been a known for its art, music, dance and rich cultural heritage. We invite you join us in Bhubaneswar and share your explorations and research at this significant conference. I believe with your support and participation, we will make this conference successful, remarkable and memorable!
I look forward to welcoming you in this fascinating scientific event in Bhubaneswar, India.
With warm regards
