About EVOLVE – 2026

The Annual Conference of the Indian Society for Extracellular Vesicle (InSEV), EVOLVE  -  2026 (April 02  -  04, 2026), is convened to provide a distinguished platform for researchers, clinicians, and industry experts engaged in the study and application of extracellular vesicles. The conference seeks to foster the exchange of cutting-edge knowledge and promote meaningful collaborations that advance both the fundamental understanding and translational potential of EV science.

A central objective of the conference is to bring together researchers investigating various dimensions of EV biology. By emphasising cross-disciplinary collaboration, the meeting aims to integrate expertise from diverse fields, including cell and molecular biology, nanotechnology, omics sciences, and clinical research, thereby creating a conducive platform for innovation and translational discovery.

Clinical applications of EVs including diagnostic platforms, biomarker discovery, and translational studies bridging bench-to-bedside.

Therapeutics & Drug Delivery Systems

EV-based therapeutics, delivery strategies, safety considerations, and preclinical/clinical development of EV drug-delivery systems.

Engineered EVs as Functional Nanosystems

Design, engineering and functionalization of extracellular vesicles as targeted nanosystems for therapeutics and diagnostics.

Dedicated sessions will explore diverse aspects of EV biology from fundamental mechanisms of vesicle biogenesis and cargo profiling to their roles in disease diagnostics, nanomedicine, and therapeutic interventions.

The conference places a strong emphasis on nurturing the next generation of researchers in the field of extracellular vesicle (EV) biology. Students will be given the opportunity to present their research as platform/oral presentations.

The conference will feature competitive poster and oral presentation sessions, with awards recognizing innovation, scientific excellence, and clarity of communication.

The conference will provide a dynamic platform for scientists, clinicians, and industry representatives to build cross-disciplinary collaborations, exchange ideas, and explore potential research partnerships at both national and international levels.

Students will have the chance to engage with industry exhibitors and technology developers, gaining insight into emerging tools, platforms, and translational pathways that bridge academic research with clinical and commercial applications.

Travel Grants and Participation Support

We are committed to inclusive and equitable participation from across the country. Subject to available resources, travel and registration support will be extended to students and early-career participants who would not be able to attend without financial support.

Day Care Facility:

An on-site day care facility is available to a limited number of participants with children (6 months and older) at no additional cost.

The Indian Society for Extracellular Vesicles (InSEV) is a national scientific society established to promote excellence in research, education, and innovation in extracellular vesicle (EV) biology across India. Founded by a collective of leading Indian researchers and clinicians with a shared vision to advance EV science, the Society operates as an affiliate body aligned with the global mission of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV).

The Society organizes annual conferences, symposia, and thematic workshops that facilitate the dissemination of new knowledge and the sharing of best practices in EV isolation, characterization, and data interpretation.
