The Institute of Life Sciences,
Bhubaneswar, which was dedicated to the nation by prime
minister of India to develop the institute as National
Centre for Excellence, is vigilant about corruption besides
being conscious about its science and service. The institute
wishes to keep the moral of Scientists and staff high and
environment being free from corruption.
Corruption is generally grown and fostered during the
process of procurements, execution of works and payments. In
view of this, ILS adopted clear and transparent policies
wherein all proposals are reviewed, scrutinized, approved
and processed by a group of responsible persons in relevant
Committees. Thus, no single person in the Institute is
crucially important or indispensable in any way to play a
decisive role in such matters. On the other hand, it is
justified that the Institute reserves the right to pay the
bills only upon satisfying the laid down criteria.
