The
Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar recruits highly
motivated
scientists at different levels depending on post-doctoral
research experience of candidates. The institute has
identified three major areas of research viz. Infectious
Disease Biology, Gene Function and Regulation and
Translational Research and Technology Development. Candidates should have specific interest in these areas
of research with sufficient post-doctoral research
experience as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed
high impact journals.
In general,
the positions are advertised in major newspapers as and
when vacancies arise. However, candidates
who have clear-cut vision and plan of future research, proven
record at current position and good track record in
terms of intellect, technical capability, commitment and
potential for research may send their CV with list of
publications and one-two page write up on their research
accomplishment and three-five pages research proposal
describing future plans for the next 5-10 year period.
A duly
constituted screening committee along with other
applications will screen applications. If found suitable,
the candidate will be invited to appear for personal
discussion at ILS.
