T cells and the Immune Response

 

CSIR-UGC-NET or DBT-JRF qualified candidates are welcome to apply directly to me for a PhD position. Preference will be given to candidates with an Immunology background. For people genuinely interested in joining my lab Please do take the time to read my area of interest and feel free to write up a one page proposal about (750-1000 words) specifying about 3 aims. This will show your marked interest in the choice you have made. Kindly DO NOT send blanket request letters for summer training or project assistants or PhD programs as they do not show any purpose from your end. If you have qualified any National Level Entrance please do mention its validity (by date) in your CV and functionality (how and where the fellowship can be used). Do send a Xerox copy for verification purposes. Your CV SHOULD mention your field of specialisation including subjects such as immunology or endocrinology instead of a broad area like biochemistry or biotechnology. In your CV's please EXPAND your abbreviations, mention knowledge of particular techniques if YOU have been trained in them (as opposed to your having watched it) While I do understand and appreciate your enthusiasm I will need commitment and confirmation that you are a serious researcher and will go the distance!
