Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar celebrated its
Foundation Day on 11th February 2008. Prof. P.P. Majumder ,
Head of Human Genetics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute,
Kolkatta and Director of TCG-ISI centre for Population
Genomics, Kolkatta was the chief guest and delivered the
foundation day lecture on Molecular Sleuthing of Our
Ancestral Footfalls. Foundation Day lecture was followed by
Cultural programme by staff and students of ILS and Song and
Drama division, Govt. Of India. A cricket match was held
between staff and students of the Institute during the day
and the match was won by the students. |
